A family friendly ballet full of magic and wonder.
Illawarra On Pointe Productions (Peter Pan), brings you , a ballet adaptation of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s 1797 poem Der Zauberlehrling, featuring local dance schools including KazzaJazz Modern Dance Studio, Danceworld, Joanne Grace School of Dance, Thirroul Dance Academy, and more.

A young apprentice more interested in daydreaming than actually completing chores gets in to all sorts of enchanted trouble when her master is away on an important wizard summit. Getting a hold of an ancient spell book and magic wand, the apprentice gets lost in the Sorcerer’s expansive library, bringing to life all sorts of fictional characters that wreak havoc on the Castle.

Enjoy watching local dancers choregraphed to original steps Meryl Papalos, and local guest choir – Out of the Blue Singers, and orchestra performing original music composed by Ryley Gillen. This two act ballet is set to delight the whole family.
